I was very honoured to be asked to be part of Joanne & Raff’s special day. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony. I was accompanied by Gavan on the keyboard. The beautiful bride chose songs that were meaningful to them and I was more than happy to oblige.
Joanne walked up the aisle to “Footprints in the Sand”. I sang “Mo Ghra Thu” for the Psalm and “Ag Criost an Siol” for Offertory. My personal favourites were sang for communion “Bright Blue Rose” & “Black is the Colour”. While the bride and groom signed the register I performed “A Thousand Years”. Through applause the married couple left the church while I sang “Ho Hey” A Lumineers classic.
I really wish this fantastic couple all the very best for the future.
Thanks to Richard McCarthy for the fabulous pictures.
